as for me..sure i do agree. love that is too painful was not love.
love..is for happiness and happiness and happiness. why do love cause pain?ahaa. the answer is easy..like the title stated..its not love indeed.
sure..i'd been experienced the "love" before.haha. so yeah i can said.."love that is too painful was not love" 
for example..if we love ALLAH..we get the sakinah and happiness. so why why why and why is love painful?haha..think by yourself. for me..love is happiness. and if one day im in love..sure..i'll be the happiest person in the world and hopefully in the hereafter too. insyaALLAH. amin :')
